We will have a look into the type of printers.
Matrix printers (more needle) - printers, which cause image on paper with needles arranged in a matrix of ink prior beating tape. Advantages - cheap, unpretentious to the paper, easy maintenance, low cost footprint, can work with multi-ply carbonless paper for printing documents in duplicate. Disadvantages - noisy, slow, practically inapplicable to schedule not applicable to color printing, fine mechanical parts that can not be repaired.
Laser printers - printers, causing an image on paper by using a photosensitive drum, electrostatic powder (toner) with certain physical properties. Subclass is treated as a LED printer - the source forming the latent image on photosensitive surface is a laser and LED. Advantages - durable, fast, disseminated, quiet, low cost, relatively good printing. Some of the best printers definitely are Epson, mostly because their ink cartridges are high quality and very stable. Epson ink cartridges are cheaper and more qualited than any one. Disadvantages - limited range of material on which print.
Inkjet Printers - Printers, causing images on different surfaces (paper, ceramics, leather, cloth, etc.). micro-doses through the heads with ink and a different chemical composition. Advantages - cheap, on a wide range of materials which cause the image, easy to maintain, quiet, easy scalability (printers from A5 to A0 +). Shortcomings - relatively expensive consumable in long standing dry inks and heads hurt, slow, most inks are water based, making the footprint unstable.
Thermal printer - printers, causing the image on special paper by termoaktivna heated sectors of the divided head. Advantages - quiet, fast, easy to maintain. Disadvantages - may not be used for color printing using only specially treated paper, print thermally unstable and relatively short in normal conditions.
dye-sublimation printers - will not dwell in detail on these printers, given the low interest and limited their supply.

Microsoft will give information about the traffic in real time

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

Traffic in big cities, especially in the U.S. is becoming a serious problem for all employees traveling to work. Each seeks to deal with traffic or to avoid it, but Microsoft is definitely up to something interesting. Using trucks to transmit traffic information from the site of the event. The new technology is part of the system Dust Network of Inrix Traffic Services, which promises that can provide state of the traffic by Bayesian statistical analysis of more than 1 years ahead. Besides specialized trucks from Inrix will use the return antennas attached to over 500 000 vehicles, which will transmit the necessary information. All traffic information will be available in web portals and navigation systems for automobiles. From Inrix announced its initial partners, namely, TeleAtlas, Cingular, MSN, Garmin, Magellan and TomTom, and the new generation of SPOT watches Microsoft.
